Call for Papers

Have you ever dreamed of appearing on American Idol? We have a better showcase for your talent: Spring Processor Forum, the leading conference for new microprocessors and related technology. Spring Processor Forum is the best opportunity to explain your company's latest innovations to a highly qualified audience of potential customers, engineers, engineering managers, decision makers, industry analysts, and the trade press.

Spring Processor Forum will be held in San Jose, California, on May 16-19, 2005 (conference days on May 17-18). We are actively seeking presentation proposals about all kinds of microprocessors for PCs, servers, and embedded systems. We will also consider proposals about important processor-related technologies, such as on-chip interconnects and chip fabrication. Our typical conference sessions cover these topics:

  • PC/server processors
  • High-performance embedded processors
  • Low-power embedded processors
  • Extreme processors (radical designs)
  • DSPs and DSP extensions
  • Licensable processor cores
  • Architectural extensions
  • Reconfigurable/configurable processors
  • Multicore architectures
  • Cool processor-related technology

Your presentation should be technically deep and market-relevant, with emphasis on new disclosures. This year, we are soliciting presentations 20 or 30 minutes in length. We will select the best presentations for 30 minutes of stage time. Those extended presentations must be accompanied by a two-page written paper, which will appear alongside your hardcopy presentation in the conference binders given to all attendees. In addition, In-Stat will judge the papers for technical content, relevance, and overall quality, then publish the best ones in our industry-leading newsletter, Microprocessor Report. No other conference has showcased as many new and exciting microprocessors as our prestigious forums have over the past 18 years.

Use our new Web form below to submit your proposal for Spring Processor Forum today!

Please note that preference will be given to new processors and cores that are being disclosed for the first time at the Forum.

All presentation proposals will be kept strictly confidential. Proposals may be preceded or accompanied by appropriate non-disclosure agreements.

Deadline for proposals is January 31, 2005.

Conference contact person: Mae Schaefer 480.483.4473.

Notification: You will be notified of the status of your proposal by February 14, 2005.
If accepted, our speaker coordinator will contact you immediately with a timeline for the development of your presentation.
