Locate Skype\u00a0<\/strong>for Business <\/strong>on the list (some versions of Microsoft Office call it Microsoft Lync).<\/p>\nStep 8.<\/strong> Click on the dropdown button close to it, and then click on Not Available.<\/strong><\/p>\nStep 9.<\/strong> Click continue and complete the rest of the process<\/p>\nStep 10.<\/strong> Close the Control Panel<\/strong> once the Wizard is done running<\/p>\nThat is it, check if the Skype for Business has been removed.<\/p>\n
Method 3: Stop it <\/strong>from starting automatically<\/strong><\/h3>\nMost people want to decide when and when not to start Skype for Business, and not to have it start automatically even when they don’t have a need for it. They don’t really want to uninstall it, but just to want it popping up at odd times. In this case, the best thing is to stop it from starting automatically. Follow the steps below to stop it from starting automatically.<\/p>\n
Step 1. Run Skype<\/p>\n

Method 4: Remove Microsoft Office<\/strong><\/h3>\nIf your Skype for Business came as part of Microsoft Office, that means it’s not a\u00a0standalone version and neither is it an MSI-based installation, and you don’t mind getting rid of your whole Microsoft Office just to uninstall Skype for Business, then you can try this method. This process will lead to uninstalling Microsoft Office.<\/p>\n
