Herschel “Guy” Beahm IV popularly known online as Dr. Disrespect is a former Twitch streamer and a big name in the internet world mostly in America. As fate may have it, on June 26, 2020, he was permanently banned from Twitch for reasons unknown. Twitch is a live video streaming platform. It’s one of the businesses that belong to Amazon.
The news of the ban came as a surprise to everyone, the only reason they gave was that it was to enable them to do an inspection. However, it looks as if Dr. Disrespect has violated some of its rules and regulations.
Why Was Dr Disrespect banned on Twitch
Few weeks after the ban, some stories of sexual assault started popping up on some major headlines in games media, but still, yet, these are all rumors, no specific has so far been given why the internet celebrity was banned on Twitch.
However, Twitch dropped an official statement which appears to be vague, not really pointing towards any particular direction:
Twitch's statement on @drdisrespect
ban "As is our process, we take appropriate action when we have evidence that a streamer has acted in violation of our Community Guidelines or Terms of Service. These apply to all streamers regardless of status or prominence in the community.”— RedJamaX (@RedJamaX_) June 26, 2020
Of course, Twitch is not usually in the manner of explaining in detail the reasons why they take certain decisions. In this case, they didn’t even give the duration of the ban. We only go to know that the Dr Disrespect ban is permanent from Rod “Slasher” Breslau.

We have no reason to believe that the Dr Disrespect ban was because of copyright issues, it doesn’t make any sense. For the fact that he just re-signed a multi-million contract with Twitch just in March 2020, only to hand him a permanent ban a few months after. There is certainly more to the ban than just copyright issues.
Why would Twitch permaban a guy they just gave a multimillion dollar contract to without explaination? A few days after releasing a statement regarding sexual abuse on the platform (like soliciting explicit images from minors during streams)? Your tweet may not age well..

Also, we remember that recently a lot of male streamers on the Twitch platform were accused of sexual harassment, and Twitch made a statement that they will soon take corresponding actions on the culprits.
Full Details About Dr DisRespect, Ninja, and Shroud New Streaming Platform
At first, many people taught the new streaming platform is Brim, especially after Keemstar the popular streamer first announced that Ninja, Shroud, and Dr DisRespect are coming together to launch a new streaming service with the help of Spotify. The rumor started flying around the internet that it is Brim, but that’s not true. As a matter of fact, even before the ban there has been this rumor that Dr DisRespect is joining Brime, which Twitch was not in support of, which also can be included as one of the possible reasons for the ban. Dr Disrespect was also caught trying to encourage some of Twitch to leave Twitch and join them in the new platform, Twitch was not happy about that also.
However, the current speculation has it that both Dr DisRespect, Ninja, and Shroud have all agreed to work with Brime.

Brime just opened a new Twitter handle which currently has only 15 followers including Dr DisRespect, Shroud, and Ninja. Rember that both Ninja and Shroud also left Twitch in 2019 to join Microsoft’s Mixer platform. This Microsoft’s Mixer platform announced that it is shutting down operations this July 2020. Coincidentally or not, the same day Brime said it will be answering questions from people tallied with the same day Dr. DisRespect said people should watch out for. Something is definitely going on between Dr DisRespect, Shroud, Ninja, and Brime.
