Bleach is a Japanese series that was born out of Tite Kubo’s manga. The production was done by Studio Pierrot and was directed by Noriyuki Abe. It was aired on the popular channel TV Tokyo from October 2004 to March 2012.
Fillers in an anime are episodes that contain random contents that are not the original work of the author. Most times fillers are used in place of the main content especially when the author/scriptwriter/Mangaka has not been able to produce content, so instead of pausing production that is where filler episodes come into play, so as to give time to the scriptwriter, author or the Mangana.
Most people don’t like watching fillers and tend to get rid of them, while some people prefer to watch everything. Bleach is top on the list of the most popular anime series and has about 366 episodes and 163 are filler episodes, this is huge. So you see why this Bleach filler list is very important so that people can get to decide whether to watch the whole episode or to skip the fillers and watch only the canon.
For the people who have come across this kind of anime that has huge series, you will agree with me that it’s not easy to through the process of watching it, especially when a whole lot of the episodes are filler.

Is There Any Value In Watching Bleach Fillers?

As we stated earlier, the number of fillers in Bleach is much, so it will take a lot of time if you start watching them. Time is something that is limited, and people place a lot of value on it, you wouldn’t want to waste your time doing something that has no benefit. Now the question is, will you like to spend your limited time watching materials that are not part of the original or main story. A lot of fans have answered no to this question and we totally concur with them.
There is certainly no harm in watching fillers, so if you have all the time you can go ahead. But we have made this list for the group of people who don’t really have the luxury of time and will like to go straight to the main story.
How Much Time Will It Take To Watch All The Bleach?
You will need to brace yourself for the long journey whenever you decide to watch the whole of Bleach episodes.
Bleach lasted from 2004 up till 2012. It has a whole lot of fillers included. Each of the episodes takes about 22 to 24 minutes.
Now let’s do the calculation: The whole of Bleach has 366 episodes, and each of the episodes will last for 24 minutes. If you multiply 366 by 24 you will get 8,784 minutes, which is about 146 hours, or 6 days and a few hours on top. That is what it will take you to watch the whole of Bleach.
Why is Bleach so Prolonged?
Animes are usually long. That notwithstanding, in the case of Bleach, the manga comes on a weekly basis, which means that as long as it keeps gathering fans and interests keep growing, it will continue to linger.
Due to the fact that its popularity kept increasing even beyond Japan, the authors have more time to write more stories. This is the major reason why Bleach is prolonged.
