A Brief description of Naruto Movies

This is to give you a glimpse of what to expect. Naruto movies are not a different story altogether, they are all connected to the main Naruto franchise, except for Boruto, just like we said earlier looks like the next generation of Naruto. Boruto has also decided to adopt his own ninja and jettison his father’s own. However, this article is focused on Naruto and not Boruto.

The first three Naruto movies on the list are connected to the original Naruto anime series, while the rest belongs to Naruto: Shippuden. Our discussion will only be focused on these 10 because they belong to the original Naruto, unlike Boruto which belongs to Naruto’s son, Boruto Uzumaki.

Are Naruto movies so important?

If you are a consistent fan of anime movies, you will agree with me that the materials used in making the movies are very unique. This is what we mean: for instance, though some anime franchise has a long lineup of movies, you will also notice that most of the movie does not adopt the main anime franchise story. Sometimes they get stories from outside but must be approved by the original author of the franchise.

Anime movies do not follow a particular time pattern within the franchise, they don’t follow a certain chronological order. You can randomly determine the time each movie was released by observing some characteristics present in the movie and in the anime, but hardly can you guess the exact moment. Also, the movie hardly makes reference to the parent or main anime series.

Now you may ask why we spent so much time analyzing Naruto movies. Do they really matter in the anime series?

Is it necessary to watch all the Naruto movies?

There is really nothing so much important about anime series, you can actually decide not to watch, but as usual, there is always an exception, and the Naruto series is one series that has such an exception. You might not really understand this until you start watching it.

Just like we said earlier, the movies do not always follow the original storyline. As a matter of fact, The first nine movies are standalone stories, you can choose not to watch. However, the only Naruto movie you cannot afford to skip is The Last: Naruto the Movie, as this is directly linked to the anime. Boruto: Naruto is also in the category of the ones you cannot afford to ignore.

Where can you watch Naruto movies?

You can stream Naruto movies online, though not in all countries, but certainly, you can stream it online if you are in the United States. The way it is, you cant find all the movies in a particular place. To make it easy for you, we are going to list the movies and the places you can find them.
